We are sad to share the news that Dr. Stam is moving out of state and will not be available after September 27, 2024.
Continuity of care is essential for your well-being,
and we are committed to ensuring you have the access to care that you need.
Becky Ortiz, WHNP is still available to care for you in Show Low, to see you in person
or via telecommunication, as well as our other Physicians and providers
who are located in the greater Phoenix area.
For those who are in need of a physician and are not able to see us in these areas, MomDoc will help coordinate care with Summit OBGYN clinic. They will take over your care for these needs and transfer you back to MomDoc once you are able to be seen by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. MomDoc will work with Summit OBYGN to coordinate this
so that there is a smooth transition.
We are actively recruiting new physicians for the Show Low office
and hope to have a permanent solution in place soon.
If you choose to transfer your care completely,
you can reach out to us at 480-821-3600 to obtain a copy of your medical record
or have us forward a copy to another provider.

Until further notice, Summit Hospital in Show Low, Arizona will not allow for VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). Patients under these circumstances will be sent to deliver at one of the following:
Banner Gateway in Mesa, Arizona
Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona
Honor Health Scottsdale Shea in Scottsdale, Arizona
Patients will still receive care at MomDoc Women for Women Show Low.
